Who We Are

Milestone Speech Therapy is a therapist owned private practice offering outpatient speech therapy for pediatrics and adults. We are operating out of our new boutique clinic nestled in the village of Gowanda. Lisa is the owner and Speech-Language Pathologist at Milestone Speech Therapy. She earned her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from SUNY Fredonia. She holds a national certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and also has a license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in New York State and is also a member of The Hanen Centre.

Since graduating, she has pursued the diverse avenues of speech pathology including subacute rehabilitation, acute care, outpatient rehabilitation and early intervention. She founded Milestone Speech Therapy out of a growing need for families and individuals to be able to access outpatient therapy in rural areas. She is committed to utilizing evidence-based practice and providing person-centered therapy to help you achieve functional outcomes.
